This year's Mountain Mayhem on September 11th and 12th 2026 will be our famous 2 vs 2 mixed weapons brawls!
On the eveing of the 11th, we will be having bar room duels (hand axe or dagger only), followed by pick-up fights during the Renaissance Ball at Mills River Brewing. This activity is optional, but attendance is encouraged.
The next day, the 12th, we will start our full day tournament of 2 vs 2 brawls at 11AM. Grab a partner and start training! If you can’t find a partner, we may be able to match you up with one if you contact us soon enough. Here is a video explaining the scoring system. Here is the rules document.
This will be a long day of pools, with breaks, which will end at 5:45PM when we move on to our direct eliminations and finals, which will be accompanied by an Emcee and live drums. During the finals, teams will be introduced by the Emcee who will read out their team bio and the team will hoist their banner in front of hundreds of spectators.
Please join our Mountain Mayhem discord channel to ask questions or to find yourself a partner. Team bios are mandatory upon registration. If your team does not have a banner, we will provide a Warriors of Ash banner for you to hoist.

Purchasing a Registration Ticket does not guarantee your spot in the tournament. All ticket purchases will be reviewed by administrators to ensure those registering are HEMA practitioners with the proper knowledge and safety gear required to participate. If you do not make the cut, you will be notified and refunded. If you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and additional details.
